It took me a few of hours to fold all these stars, cranes, and flowers tonight. I absolutely love folding origami as I have a deep passion for handicrafts. Two of my most favourite handicrafts include knitting scarves and sweaters out of yarn & weaving Chinese craft out of red strings. I have been interested in hands-on art ever since I was in elementary school. I remember getting home from school at 3 o'clock and just start crafting something on the floor in my bedroom! I would like to learn how to sew Chinese embroidery next when I have time. As one may already tell, I am especially intrigued to Chinese handicrafts. This is because I am a fourth year Arts student at UBC; my field of study focuses on Chinese History. Therefore, I prefer handicrafts that are associated with Chinese artwork (tradition) in particular. That's it for now! Good night, ladies and gents!
